FRIENDS of the Blue Ridge Parkway assists the National Park Service with their Natural Resource Management and Science Programs.  A volunteer demonstration on wetlands restoration is scheduled for later in the year.  For more information about the exotic restoration program, click below.

Saving the Bog Turtle

FRIENDS of the Blue Ridge Parkway donates transmitters to the National Park Service to help them trap this federally endangered species that makes it home in the wetlands of the Blue Ridge Parkway.
