The Alleghany Sparta Trail Association will have a half-day trail maintenance work session on the (MST) Mountains to Sea Trail in Alleghany County near Sparta.

Meet at Blue Ridge Parkway Milepost 234 (Mahogany Rock Road). After walking in on the Sparta Trail to the junction with the MST, we will rework a short section of the MST that leads up the hill to an old road and we will replace an old sign.

Please wear appropriate clothing and gloves and bring water and snacks.
