Chris Ulrey, plant ecologist for the Blue Ridge Parkway, for a 10:30 a.m. educational hike across Craggy Bald. The group will meet at the large wooden shelter on the Craggy Gardens Trail, accessible via a half-mile hike from the Craggy Gardens Picnic Grounds or from the visitor center for a 0.3-mile hike.
