Saturday June 11th 9am volunteers meet at Carroll County Public Library in Hillsville.  Disposable water bottles will be handed out as needed and a simple volunteer form needs to be completed for each participant who hasn’t done one since 2020.  Then we drive down (carpooling encouraged) Beaver Dam Road a 1/2 mile to Trot Town Rd, turn left, then immediately turn left again into the trailhead parking lot.  We will then hike about 3/4 mile along the trail, to get to the 7th bridge where we start painting.  Then work our way back to the vehicles as we paint the other 4 bridges.  Anyone who comes late can simply come down the trail to meet us.  Even if you can’t stay the entire time, your help will be much appreciated!

The temperature is expected to be quite pleasant with a high under 75 degrees.  Perfect day to enjoy being outdoors before the summer heat kicks in!

The town will have completed surface preparation and is providing all supplies (paint, brushes, etc) for the painting.  Bring water, sun protection, sack lunch, your painting clothes, gloves, and shoes!
